Diary of a Rock Balancer ::
Stone Balance Art created and photographed by Michael Grab — 29 February 2016 — South Island, New Zealand ::
Sunrise inside a mountain cloud.
Location: Mt. Aspiring National Park, NZ
This top rock was collected at lake Te Anau down south, several days ago. wasn’t sure when or where to use it but felt the need to bring it… so here’s its moment! the spine is all local rocks laying, carefully configured to properly display my keepsake :)
Ended up leaving this rock behind, since i finally felt released!
[…] i left this morning’s top rock here in mt aspiring np, i decided to take these two with me from fantail upon leaving the spot.. […]
Magnífico por el doble equilibrio, uno de las piedras y el otro el del paisaje con tu obra, gracias maestro por estas imágenes

Wow I hope this’s is real
The impossible done beautifully!
It looks like it’s barely touching! And so far over to the side how is that even possible!!??!! WOW!!!
And the light, and capture of it all- a brilliant moment in time, held sweetly and shared. Thank you Gravity Glue.
That top rock looks familiar. Do you keep finding that shape everywhere you go?
Okay, you need to change the name from Gravity Glue to Gravity Defied !!!!! :-O
how on earth did u do that!
Some call this art…I call it destruction of insect, reptile, or amphibian possible hibernacula…
building the machine you used to type that comment had more of a negative impact on environment than balancing rocks in most places on earth.
