Today was a day fit for exploring.. I have been living in Västernorrland Sweden for about 2 weeks now and each day I grow more enchanted by the enthralling nature… here she grows with full force. moss and trees take root through solid rock. The scenery is BEAUTIFUL. The air is thick with moist vegetation… and mosquitoes :/ but there are tactics to overcoming the mosquito issues. After all, part of the magic of rock balancing, especially in new and unknown places is ADAPTING to the context, circumstances, or whatever… It is also smart to look out for large animals like Moose and Brown Bears… although encounters are rare, one must stay aware.
The best thing is to have no expectations. My girlfriend and I set out into the forest with our backpacks, mosquito repellant, knives, and camera equipment… expecting nothing in particular.. where we stumbled upon this small opening in the forest… as luck would have it, there were some nice rocks and beautiful scenery to play with… we ended up setting up camp and staying for at least a few hours… rain and clouds…. together in the forest..
