Diary of a Rock Balancer ::

Stone Balance Art created and photographed by Michael Grab — 30 June 2016 — Espot, Spain ::

i spent most of the day roaming some of the most beautiful scenery on earth, looking for the best place to stop and balance, each time getting flushed out by wind or rain with perfect synchronicity to thwart my efforts.

until i finally let go of all the hopeless searching, went back to my hotel, had dinner with a friend, and went for a walk down the street — the day’s creative potential all but lost. . . when i got to this point…

i thought it interesting how magic was right under my nose while i was distracted looking for it in the more obvious, grandiose places. . .

plus i like this bridge. and it lit up nicely at dusk to complement the distant sunset color.. perfect frame just for me
