Another snow storm overnight….STILL dumping.. I had to zip-lock the camera from moisture…Ice has grown….again :D and the arch is holding strong under stress of heavy snowy AND growing ice…
A confession: I’ve looked at all those arch photos, trying to figure out exactly where it is since I probably live within 20 miles of it. Not so I can go destroy it (or other lingering juvenile thoughts), but just so I can feel like part of the secret. I love having such a simple thing as stacked rocks (I know, it’s more complicated than that) be so engaging! On the other hand, maybe the mystery is more satisfying than if I knew the real secret location.
hmm… the arch photos are from a range of locations between 9th street and where arapahoe turns into canyon.. (far west boulder)… :) i always wonder the thoughts that happen when people randomly discover them.. the MYSTERY !! :)
