i listened to an Alan Watts lecture recently (surprise!). . . in which he was talking about zen (surprise!). .  and how it is generally beyond definition, however, could be “summed up in four statements”

1. A direct transmission, outside scriptures and apart from tradition.
2. No dependence on words or ledgers
3. Direct Pointing to the human mind
4. Seeing into one’s own nature, and becoming ‘Buddha’

.   .  . .sounds like the gravity glue experience. .  .   .

so i wrote it down. :)

PS. . . I like this beach. interesting rocks and no cell service.. and i love seeing the sun actually set.
