Creating rock balance gardens in public places has been a passion since that first afternoon stacking in the creek 5 years ago… it is infinitely inspiring to observe the way so many people are deeply touched in the heart by seeing not only the balance, but more importantly, the creation process.. this is not speculation.. they feel compelled to tell me EVERY time… there is always HUGE positive energy that gathers in and around these gardens….. i’m sure any rock garden creators out there know EXACTLY what i’m talking about. call me crazy, but i sense an intricate symphony of energy (maybe spirits?) dancing among the rocks!!
It is a fantastic collection of natural rocks and formations, I often wondered.. Where is this location?
Some times, we see some of these delicately balanced rocks around deccan pleateau of southern India, but they have been very much damaged by the greedy,destructors, like the contractors who break them up for road laying, and construction and so called urban development.. Alas, no getting away from this wanton destruction..

Really? Even right from the very start you were happy to do it in public? I’ve only been balancing for several months and while I do enjoy people seeing my stacks and commenting on them, I’m still shy to do it right in front of them….
I pick a time/day when I know there will be very few poeple aroumd, which is not hard considering I live about 10 mins drive from deserted tropical beaches.
i do it whenever i feel like it… but most of the time there are random people passing by in and around boulder… the larger the garden gets, usually the more people stop and look… i don’t mind at all…. tho sometimes i avoid people completely…
