Same top rock and same three lower rocks — Two variations. short and tall.
Something especially elegant about the second variation.. both variations for their small bottom contacts, also for the fact that they will both completely self destruct — no footprints. But the taller one, especially point balanced in multiple places with a certain slink, somehow seems more human.
“A kind of light spread out from her. And everything changed color. And the world opened out. And a day was good to awaken to. And there were no limits to anything. And the people of the world were good and handsome. And I was not afraid any more.”
~ John Steinbeck, East of Eden

Love this….nature in balance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your FB page, it has helped me get perspective in life.
Love it and am addicted to this art…. But HOW?!
this one was EXTREMELY difficult to build… best answer i can come up with is “very carefully”
all about balance..that seems to be what our Creator designed for us
Are you back in boulder?
a beautiful dancer… :)
I vote one of my favorites man! This one has me enchanted.
thanks! took hours to realize, almost gave up many times after the sun disappeared. then just in the knick of time…
the pressure was on, it’s a fickle and intriguing way of meditation if you go in with expectations. That third rock from the bottom with that top rock and the color combination is fucking sick!!!
ya something i really like about the winter balancing is how the colors of rocks stand out more against the bare trees..
