Something I am loving is revisiting all my old favorite spots along boulder creek this fall.. the time of transformation… some places I began visiting and balancing last winter after the leaves passed.. so it is absolutely brilliant to see these places for the first time with leaves in full flux..
As you might notice, the balance changes slightly from the above photo to the following photos.. had one of those spontaneous collapses happen.. no bid deal.. it was fun to rebuild… and the rebuilt version is slightly more complicated, as it raises the center of gravity by standing the bottom round rock on end.. :) Another obvious difference in the moments is the sunlight hitting the background trees.. below, the photos are from after the sun sets behind the mountains… above, the sun lights up the leaves directly, slightly neutralizing color contrast in the leaves.. :)
