there is no perspective trickery here. just super itty bitty munchkin rocks. Anyone who balances might understand just how precise and difficult this is to build. especially while maintaining a relatively tiny contact point at the top.

why? cuz most of the vibrations i work with in my usual large scale balancing are much more prominent to the touch. working bigger, although more physically strenuous and potentially dangerous, is also far more within a noticeable spectrum of vibrations.

in this tiny version, even the slightest nudge is like a large adjustment at regular scale. movements must be that much more precise here. the slightest touch will often be an over-adjustment. fine breath control necessary. there is no muscle involved here, just pure finesse — feather fingers. it’s pretty tough to even feel zero. one must have the utmost sensitivity of touch and motor precision to know when to fully let go. fat contacts are no problem. but that tiny top one surprised even me.
