“Enlightenment is a destructive process.
It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier.
Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth.
It’s seeing through the facade of pretense.
It’s the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true.”

    1. I’m all for truth, especially in my spiritual journey. What I’m concerned abt is the “truths” we believe in otherwise, i.e. finding out that a friend wasn’t a “good” friend after all, that someone you love just “uses” you. Truth makes you have to make choices, and sometimes those choices are not easy, wonderful, or even wanted. Yet, truth is best. I’d rather have the truth than a lie. I’d rather hurt and deal with it than be believing a lie.
