Recent favorite creation + people always asking “HOW?” = New Gravity Glue demonstration. :))

Enjoy <3

This particular video was on about the 10th attempt… pretty tough to get it done in a manageable amount of time to remotely satisfy the attention deficit of social media, all while nailing the angle and light for good contrast and exposure.. the photos i shared were shot from the opposing angle. i’m not saying it’s exciting to watch. but it is the real deal. start to finish. raw balance. no shortcuts.

I highly recommend watching until the very end :)

Shout out to Mark at Serlo Studios for the pin-making wizardry.

 Food for Thought:

“Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and from others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real, and I can’t vent any anger against them. I only feel this appalling sadness. Somewhere, in their upbringing, they were shielded against the total facts of our existence. They were only taught to look one way when many ways exist.”

Wow! I did not believe the photos were for real until I saw the video demos! Thanks so much for sharing! You have made my day!

  2. incredible. do you just balance whichever rock you pick up, or do you scout your rocks ahead? looks like you just reach down and pluck the next and the next and work with what you get?

  3. mesmerizing… i swear i could tangibly feel that precise moment when it “clicked” and became balanced… like some stone silence of infinity… just magical

  4. Wow. I absolutely loved the sounds of the river flowing through my room! And how amazing to watch. From the 5th rock onwards I kept holding my breath in anticipation! Thanks for sharing! Blessed be you, gravity glue:-)

  5. I find what you do so impressive and inspiring! Only thing better than seeing your finished work is to watch you create like this. Was a pleasure to watch this to the end. It brings me peace & relaxation. Thank you for sharing this.

  6. Those ever-so-minute-wiggles, remind me of when I’m hunting for a ‘reflection’ of light, off any of Jupiter’s many moons… thanks for sharing!

  7. Wow! Thanks for sharing. I still don’t understand but it doesn’t matter. That’s what makes it so surrealist! I love your work and can’t wait to receive the prints my bf ordered for my birthday!

    1. I have tried stacking rocks but every time I add a top rock the entire stack shifts from the new balancing point. Your stuff just looks impossible which is its mystic. (how do you spell misteek?)

  8. they are amazing, it still just boggles my mind on how you get them to balance and then the fact that they stay … like the larges rock on top on its very tip.

    1. short answer is definitely not.. if the air is already freezing, then picking up a wet rock with shortly become an ice coated rock, with next to no friction… in this case, ice just mucks up the process. however, it all flows smoothly together IF i’m able to balance the rocks shortly before the air freezes.. then i can splash water on and it will freeze around the balance points.. but the rocks must always be balanced first. :)

  9. Michael: is there a Guinness record for the number of balanced stones in a formation? If not, contact them, create the category, then set the record.
