Stone Flower

I worked on this one for about an hour before a large storm rolled through. high winds, thunder and all. one of the instincts in this scenario is to pack up and go home. I was the only one left at the park. But something else i’ve learned is that these afternoon thunder storms tend to pass through quickly, often revealing a soft ambient light, leading into magic hour. also i really wanted this balance to happen. and i felt the thread before the storm.

so i paused the process. . waited. . .
packed up my stuff, sat under shelter. even considered going home.

but just as i suspected, about an hour later the storm moved on, leaving me an hour more to problem solve my way to zero. so i did. :))
